Volunteers help in our warehouse sorting produce and non-perishable goods, repackaging bulk foods, and keeping the warehouse clean and food safe.  Others volunteer as "food runners" where they ride along with one of our drivers helping to deliver and pick up food around Washtenaw County.  There are also opportunities at our Community Kitchen where volunteers help prepare and serve meals to those in need.

Our dedicated volunteers are involved in nearly every aspect of our services; whether staffing our front desk, serving breakfast to our residents or helping provide medical care at our health clinic. More than simply supporting full-time staff, our volunteers are truly important because of the significant interpersonal contact they have with our clients. Our volunteers often make the difference between providing basic service and touching a person's life. Please note we require a 40 hour commitment of time.
