How do I know if there are volunteers waiting to hear from me?

You will be notified two ways:

a) You will receive an email indicating you have volunteers waiting to be contacted.

b) You can log in to your VolunteerWashtenaw page.

If volunteers have requested to volunteer for your organization, you will see the System Alert “There are volunteers awaiting their first contact”.  Click that link and you will see the list of volunteers waiting to be contacted. You can now easily make contact with the volunteer from your agency page through an email link and  easily **confirm with VolunteerWashtenaw that the volunteer has been contacted.

**(Once you have made contact, click the box next to the volunteer's name and click Confirm Selected). This will remove them from the system and you will not receive annoying reminder emails.
